Eclipse is a well-known free cross-platform integrated development environment (IDE). Java language was originally used primarily for development, but also make it through plug-ins for other computer languages such as C + + and Python development tools.
The Eclipse platform itself is only a framework, but the support of numerous plug-ins make Eclipse have other functions relatively fixed IDE hard to have the flexibility of software. Many software developers to Eclipse as a framework to develop their own IDE.
